I Am very Sorry

Well I have to start off this post by saying sorry. I know we dont have a lot of readers to this blog yet but I know we have some and I know its been a while since I posted. Well my offline job has been crazy and all my spare time has been going into Jodies and my ventures. To top it off Jodie has been caring much of the load this week. Thank God for her.

Well as you can see we do have lives outside the internet. Jodies husband is leaving to work out of town today for the first time so things will be a lot differant for her as well.

Anyways on the business side I need to report that things are going great. Our adsense earnings are up 1000%, Ebay strategies are up 1000% and clickbank is up 100%. So what does that mean in dollars. Well I wont give the exact amounts but lets just say there is 3 zeros behind our profits.

I keep telling people that affiliate marketing is the way to go. Everyday is a differant day but for almost 3 weeks now we have not gone a single day without earnings.

Just A Thought

Day in and day out I see hundreds of offers of tons of get rich overnight stuff. So I was just wondering how many people are actually falling prey to these dam predators. Ah dont be embarresed. I was there myself and Im sure Jodie was as well. We learned the hard way and gave away a lot of money.

Well just to let you know that Jodie and I take our business very seriously. She keeps track of every little hot to our website. Where the hits are coming from, what time they are coming and so forth and so forth. We dont fall for the crap any more. We only deal in hard work and facts.

One fact is that our websites are getting 1000% more hits over the last 2 weeks. We are making a nice 30 to 50 dollars a day consistantly with that number rising a bit each day. We would love to help people with there efforts but in order to do that we need to build your trust.

Crazy Busy

As usual, life has been really busy. My home life has been a bit crazy the last few days with my husband starting a new job in a brand new line of work. The thing is, he hasn't left yet... he was supposed to start today, but the company had not planned properly and now he's still here at the house enjoying another day off. I can't say I'm not enjoying it.

As for online earnings, I guess you can say things have really heated up. We are making some great adsense and eBay revenues. We got our third big campaign ready to be launched and are in the midst of preparing our articles for the campaign.

Also, I've been working on some new lenses for another campaign that is coming up.

Things have been super busy for Dale and I and it's great to see that we're starting to pull in some nice money DAILY!! Thank you Dale!!

Happy Happy Day

Well hello everyone. I want to say what a great weekend for Jodie and myself. We have worked our butts off with Jodie getting new campaigns, squidoo, ehow, ebay and about a million other things. I got about 20 articles done this weekend and things really showed through.

We had our best earnings ever so far. Everything went up and the biggest shocker was our adsense earnings. You can believe this if you want because Im still having problems believing it but our adsense earnings increased by 1000%. Thats right 1000, not 100 but 1000.

Well people like we have always said Jodie and I are just normal people who are seeing more and more success on a daily basis.

Well thats it for now because we are just getting ready to start our new campaign.

Woo Hoo, happy days.

Todays A day To Say Thanks

Well I thought with today being Thanksgiving here in Canada it would be a good day to say thanks to all those who have helped me in my journey to prosper on the internet. This post will have no promo links but just a big thank you.

The first person I really need to thank is my beautiful wife for standing by me and believing in me when I was spending more money than I was making. Not once did she ever show any negative feelings towards what I was doing. Of course my kids have to be thanked for missing some fishing trips and football games because I had appointments or deadlines I just needed to get done.

The next person is not only my partner but my friend as well. Of course I am speaking of Jodie. So many things have turned around in our internet careers since we partnered up in business. We both have the same vision and because of that failure has never been an option. I would also like to thank Jodies hubby for believing in her and encouraging her in her business. Family support is so crucial in surviving on the internet.

Well lastly I would like to thank all the people that have worked with us to help us move forward in out internet career. Without many of you we just wouldnt be enjoying the success that we are seeing today.

Well being Thanksgiving if I had the chance I would shut down the computer today and just do family time but unfortunately I will be 3 hours away from my family today so I will continue with my endeavors today and hope that everyone who is enjoying the holiday has a very prosperous and safe Thanksgiving.

Not Feeling So Well

Well, I'm officially sick. I have a head cold and my body aches... Arg. Anyway, life still continues on. :) Had a great day with our Ebay affiliate sales, biggest day ever in fact!

But I want to talk about Spam. I just read Dale's blog post and it reminded me of a message I sent to someone today. When I went to my MyLot inbox (social networking site that pays) I had a message from a random person with no posts. They had just requested my friendship so I knew the post would be one of two thins. 1. It would be asking for help. 2. Spam. And yup, it was spam.

So what did I do? I actually messaged the person back. My message simply said. "There are easier and better ways to get targetted traffic than spamming people. If you are interested, visit my profile". I figure I might as well fight fire with fire.

Of course, this is different than receiving spam in an email. This person had to type that information for me to receive it (no spam policy on the site. LMAO) so they are a real person and obviously do not know what they are doing.

I wonder if they visited my profile....

Spam, Spam, Spam Everywhere

Its actually quite hilarious the amount of spam emails I get into my email inbox on a daily basis. People just dont understand that this just doesnt work anymore, not to mention that its illegal and immoral.

Maybe a few years ago spamming did well for some people but to be honest I am totally sick of spammers. Jodie and I run a successful affiliate marketing business and we wouldnt ever think of spamming. Thats why we have a double opt in newsletter.

Even having the double opt in you have to be careful. You see we dont send a ton of emails to our list. I am actually a member of one newsletter that I get at least 3 emails a day from. Im not even sure why I havent opted out yet but the time is coming.

I guess what Im getting at people is stop spamming. All you are doing is wasting your time and you are also setting yourself up for trouble.

Back At It

What an exhausting few days... but good days. Dale and I have been working our butts off to get out our first campaign using OneWeekMarketing. And guess what, it's been a success. 48 hours after we published our first lens, we have had over 70 hits to the site. Did you hear that folks? 70 hits in 48 hours!

I'm thinking Dale and I should start a "hit meter" that tracks how many hits we've had for different campaigns.

I do think that Dale and I need a break from writing articles and hard labour for the next day or so... but knowing us, we'll both be at it again tomorrow morning.

It was payday as well as we received our Squidoo payment for our August earnings. :) Squidoo is the number one tool using OneWeekMarketing and it's where we always start our campaigns. It's free to join and they pay you to use their site to host your affiliate products or referral based programs. Cool!

So What Is It?

I got to thinking yesterday when I was bored out of my skull working on the latest campaign. So I ask the question what is it you want from your affiliate earnings. Do you want the warm fuzzy feeling of only working on campaigns that are near and dear to you? Or do you want to make money and see cheques at your door at least every two weeks.

Well I know I love seeing the cheques. I am in affiliate marketing plain and simple for two reasons. I want to continue making money and I want to show other serious people how they can make money.

Hell if at the end of the day we think something as simple as watching paint dry will make us money then watch out for our watch paint dry campaign.

It does help having a partner thats just as committed. We both understand what it takes and we both have the things we love doing on the campaigns. In saying that some can get very trying in a hurry. However at the end of the day we think about the big picture and guess what, it brings a smile to our face.

Well thats it for now. Except for me to ask you when you are going to make the move from warm and fuzzy to making money. When you are ready let us know and we would be glad to help.

What A Sunday

Wow, do I ever have to give a shout out to what we got accomplished yesterday. Jodie and I launched a brand new campaign. We did more work yesterday then the last 3 days combined. We are in pretty good spirits that this will be one of our best campaigns yet.

As of bedtime last night we hadnt made a penny with it yet but the people looking and clicking thru was alarmingly high and really thats all we could ask for so early in the campaign. Even though its launched its not quite finished yet.

Jodie still has to build a blog around it and she needs ti do some ehow articles while I still need to publish around 12 articles yet. At that point we will be done. We will have some tweaking but honestly it will be on to the next campaign.

Im really not sure whats in store today. I really need to get some yard work done before the snow falls. So today I will try and split up the efforts. Get the yard work done, get about 6 articles done and get some more work done on my wifes website.

Anyways I guess thats it for now. I love blogging and I could write all day but it would probably get a bit boring for you.

Anyways dont you think its time you stopped procrastinating and got into affiliate marketing. The cool thing is while we are waiting for our new campaign to take off we are still making money off our other affiliate efforts.

Well, honestly... it's been a pretty sad few days for Dale and I. LOL Luckily we have built up some residual income so we are still making some money, but I decided that it was a great time to paint the trim on my house, so I have been busy with that.

Also, I bought the PotPieGirl e-book One Week Marketing and have been reading that.

I am now working on our first campaign with her information and have done some great keyword research and opened up a new Squidoo account and reserved the names of the lenses I want to create. After the trim is painted, I will be diving into it in full force.

What Did I Miss

Well yesterday because of offline commitments I couldnt be online much. Thats the beauty of having a partner like Jodie. We can always cover for one another.

Anyways when I finally did get to update with Jodie last night she had a lot of great things to report. Traffic was up, revenue was up and new members to the team was up. Hows that for a good day.

You can have success like this as well but you have to make the first move. you have to be committed and want something bad enough. Jodie and I want it so we are getting it. You have no right to cheat yourself and dont you think its time you made the right move instead of all the wrong moves.

Well thats it for now. I may post again later today but I really need to get a move on my wifes site. She is getting a bit antsy to see it online.

Squidoo And Profits

Wow! All of the efforts towards our discount site are paying off. Traffic is coming in and so are affiliate sales. It's wonderful to see something pay you daily. Isn't that what earning online is all about? Residual income? That's what I'm after anyway.

Also, I was in the Wealthy Affiliate forums a lot today. I was having an issue with an affiliate campaign I was trying to run on Squidoo. It would not get indexed on Google for some reason. Anyway, a good Samaritan on the forum (PotPieGirl) helped me figure out why it was not indexing. I did a little tweaking and voila! :) I can let you know in a few days how successful it was.

Lastly, I'm trying to break down what I'm actually getting a commission for selling on Ebay. I think that this could be powerful information for future targeting.

It was definitely not a house cleaning day. In fact, I think I should have done at least something offline today... eek. :)

Shoot For The Moon

Well today is kind of a busy, crazy day. I have to deal with month end for all my on and off line activities. It means a ton of paperwork and probably a few cusses when the numbers dont add up. Oh well Im sure none of you care about that anyways.

So what I wanted to talk about today is just like the title says. Shoot For The Moon. Way too many people get into things with the wrong frame of mind. Well dont worry, Jodie and I have been there. We have failed at several things until we got into affiliate marketing. We made some decisions though.

Failure was not an option
Work hard to realize our dreams
Work hard to help others
Stick with it through good and bad
Never give up
Stop looking at other programs
Make smart decisions

All of these and many more thins lead us to start realizing our dreams. Jodie and I are 2 differant people shooting for a common goal and we absolutely refuse to fail. Jodie is a stickler for stats while I could care less about that and I just plug away. Dont worry shes always telling me what to do differant for the stats.

Anyways what Im getting at is if you really want something there is nothing to stop you. Jodie and I have finally been able to realize that and you can to if you are serious. Why not come and join us on our trek to the moon. I assure you in the end you will not be dissapointed.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Well all around it was a crazy, hectic but productive weekend. Jodie and I both had offline issues to deal with but we still got a lot of work done. The promo site is going great guns and some nice earnings as a result. The Wealthy Affiliate site admittedly was a bit slow this weekend but thats ok, these things happen. It doesnt worry me at all.

Much of my time this weekend was spent on the new site Im building for my wife. Its a huge project but in the end will be great. You see Jackie (my wife) has joined our team so once this site goes live it will be huge. Shes been busy writing articles and preparing materials for the site. Best case scenario Im thinking of maybe an October 7th release but that may be pushing it a bit.

Well thats enough blabbing for now and time to get back to work.

A Crazy Weekend

I think both Dale and I can attest that we accomplished quite a bit this weekend. I have to admit it is the busiest weekend I have had in my real life in a very long time... but it was great. Also, my almost two year old decided it was time to start testing out temper tantrums and has been very successful with it.

As far as online work is concerned, we had some nice income from the ebay program. That is one of our biggest earners at the minute and it's great to watch the earnings rise daily. In fact, I think Dale and I both feel pretty darn proud that we have found a niche that is consistently bringing in revenue. And even more impressive is that one of our sites received over 200 hits yesterday... and that's all natural hits.

And I will attest that the old adage about not being able to teach an old dog new tricks, is BS. Dale has taken on a giant project and has been learning new skills each day. He even got his domain all set up with his newest site!!! Sweeet! I don't know if any of you have tried to set up a domain, but it can be a giant pain in the rear-end.

About Articles

Well first of all a little about my day yesterday. I thought I wouldnt get a darn thing done because of my lack of sleep but quite surprisingly I got quite a bit accomplished. I managed to get some articles write and submitted, got the blog updated, sent out some solo ads and my biggest triumph was transfering a new domain name to the new relationship site Im building for my wife. Yep got some work done on the relationship site. Oh ya I also did some updating on the Wealthy Affiliate site as well. Dam it was a pretty good day.

I want to talk a little about article submission. I have always been a great believer in ezine articles but as of late Ezine has been, well all I can say as of late it sucks. They have ben denying 4 out of 5 of my articles. They are very slow in checking out the articles. They have also introduced a new payplan. Oh great so now I will have to pay to get my article denied sooner.

Well there is no way I will subscribe to Ezines payplan. In fact I am not even sure Ezine articles is going to be my number one submission site anymore. Oh sure I use all the other great ones as well but I just thought I would tell you about a new site that seems to be helping attract traffic to my sites.

Busy Day For Both Of Us

Well yesterday was one of theose days for both Jodie and I. You see my offline job is I am a H2s Safety Supervisor. Much of the time my job is very quiet but at certain times like yesterday I have to run and ya then nothing gets done online.

I did however manage to get the blog updated and an article submitted.

So as you are starting to see there is a pattern here. Jodie and I are just normal people living normal lives. Were not gurus, and were nothing special. We could be your next door neighbor. Yep we are just like you and we are earning on the internet.

Yes we make money everyday. Oh were not driving BMWs, we dont live in mansions and we sure as hell are not gurus. What we are however is determined.

If your at all interested in making money on the internet and you think affiliate marketing is your game then you should be talking to us. You see we will never make false promises, claims that are crap or anything like that. What we will do is show you the exact system we use to earn with affiliate marketing.

Yesterday Sucked

Well everyone, Dale here.

Yes, yesterday sucked. Not because marketing was bad because we had an alright day. What sucked is I felt like crap and barely got anything done. In fact in the evening when I started feeling better I got more done my last 90 minutes online than I did all day. Oh well I guess we all have those days.

So what am I working on now? Well my wife has decided she can be helpful online. You see my wife is as close to a relationship expert as you can get without going to school for it so she has asked me to build her a website that she can be interactive with. So thats what I will be working on in the next week or so between everything else.

Well time to get on with the day. I have articles to write, emails to answer. I love affiliate marketing.

Welcome to our blog folks

Dale explained who I am and how we met so I guess I'm good to just get started. I've been blogging for quite a while and enjoy the casual atmosphere of it. I will be using this more as a daily log of my activities related to Wealthy Affiliate as well as my day to day hum drum of a life. :)

Today was a productive day off line. With autumn beginning to take hold of us here, I had to take care of some yard stuff as well as get organizing our garage (we have become the infamous household that uses their garage as storage and not for a car).

Online I really did not accomplish near as much as I had wanted... But I have some days where I get much more done. I was working on updating one of my sites that provides us a lot of traffic. I think tomorrow my goal will to add adsense in better positioning on the same site and complete the updating. Right now there are some dead links and I know Dale is shuddering now. But it will only be for a few more hours.

For fear of my first post becoming a novel, I will leave it here.

Well I said I want to keep this fun so I wont get too serious in this post. Anyways a little about Jodie and I. Jodie is a stay home mom and wife. Of course her first interest is her family and then trying to help pay the bills by taking advantage of the internet. Myself, I am a husband and father who is employed in the oil patch in Alberta, Canada.

Just to prove what a small world we live in. Well Jodie and I met online in a business forum. We were both promoting our programs. We started talking only to find out we both live in the same city about 10 minutes from each other. As time passed Jodie and I decided to combine our efforts and work online as a team. So far it has been a great learning and rewarding experience.
